Providing a $70m fully integrated fitout of 45,000sqm, PPMGA was required to coordinate the consolidation of three separate office locations into a single project.
Challenges
From design concept to occupation, PPMGA was tasked to ensure the scope met the budget, while ensuring flexibility to adapt to design changes mid project. PPMGA needed to ensure the fitout design would deliver 5 Star Green star and 4.5 star ABGR rating at occupation.
Solutions
PPMGA ensured design was fully resolved wherever possible, as well as providing a realistic program, reducing cost blow outs. Understanding the complete drivers to the client requirements, PPMGA was able to provide a comprehensive stakeholder communications strategy.
Results
PPMGA delivered the fitout project on time without a single day of 'Extension of time' and more than 10% under budget. The client Australia Post was able to implement its desired workplace efficiencies and effect cultural change through the fitout being successfully delivered. As meeting program was a key business imperative of the client, PPMGA was also able to undertake a successfully staged occupation for Australia Post, ensuring they operated effectively and without major impact.
