Background
PPMGA provided Project Management services for delivery of 2 office towers on a prominent corner in the Melbourne CBD.
Challenges
This significant project required delivery of 2 separate 5 Star Green Star office towers totalling 75,000sqm NLA across half a Melbourne CBD block, with thirty mixed use retail and placemaking elements at ground level and integrated fitouts for three separate tenants. Effective coordination of the various separate project teams was vital.
Solutions
Working closely with the client to ensure we aligned with their own internal requirements, PPMGA developed specialised project procedures to successfully manage the separate design teams with competing their requirements. PPMGA's client focussed approach ensured both the project and team were managed effectively. Alignment with the business model of the client, including managing the incoming tenants, ensured PPMGA was able to ensure the project outcomes remained the primary focus.
Results
PPMGA was able to implement for the Developer, a staged occupation of separate tenants while meeting competing demands of each of the Tenants. The project achieved strong leasing results, and the overall quality of the project delivered was affirmed later when Cbus achieved a strong yield on its sale.
