The scope for this 16,600sqm GLA $120m Regional Shopping Centre extension and refurbishment project for QIC required PPMGA to manage the upgrade project whilst the majority of the centre remained operational, with new tenants each having different requirements within their design briefs. PPMGA scope included delivering the expansion of a large amount of new and refurbished retail areas, with 850 car parks, all delivered while the Centre continued trading.
Solutions
PPMGA ensured stage completion was aligned to commencement of lease agreements, to ensure easier transition of trade for tenants.
Results
All target dates were successfully achieved through careful programming and regular consultation with the client. New tenants were also properly accounted for in the program and their specific design briefs incorporated, ensuring they could commence fitouts and operations promptly.
